Let’s Go Brandon! Boebert Sends Clear Message To Biden

In a hysterical jab at both President Biden and darling of the Progressives, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Lauren Boebert, wore a dress similar to AOC’s gala ensemble, emblazoned with the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon.”

Boebert the often controversial Colorado Republican, took to Twitter to apparently show her idea of the new fashion trend sweeping across Washington, D.C., after this week’s elections.

Boebert mocked Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Tax the Rich” dress that the New York Democrat wore to the Met Gala in September. Boebert’s dress read, “Let’s Go, Brandon,” the phrase that has become something of a rallying cry for President Biden’s most fierce critics, which is code for a less than flattering message to the president. “It’s not a phrase, it’s a movement,” Boebert posted.

Boebert’s office told Fox News that she posed for the photo with former President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida this week.

Ben Stout, communications director for Boebert, told Fox News, “It’s not just a phrase, it’s a movement, right? And people are sick and tired of this administration and all the destructive things they’ve done, especially to our economy, and the way that they express that right now is with ‘Let’s go, Brandon.’”

“The meeting [with Trump] went phenomenal. Congresswoman Boebert has been a leader of the Make America Great Again movement and a leader for pushing President Trump’s agenda forward in Congress. And so the meeting went phenomenally well. They discussed how destructive the Biden administration has been and the importance of putting President Trump policies in place that we can get America back on track.”

When asked about what Trump said about Boebert’s “Let’s go Brandon” dress, Stout said, “It made him smile, he loved it.” The dress was designed by Andre Soriano, who also designed the “Make America Great Again” gown, first worn by Joy Villa at the 2017 Grammys.

Boebert has been a vocal critic of her Democratic colleagues and their effort to advance the president’s agenda. She told Fox News last month that “the American people aren’t buying” Biden’s “fast-track to socialism.”

Republicans looked at Tuesday’s election as disastrous for the Biden administration, and an example of how little sway the progressive wing of the Democrat Party has outside their districts. The most notable election win was Glenn Youngkin’s victory over Terry McAuliffe in Virginia.

The election, at least early on, seemed to only further divide the country. Climate change activists also blocked the car of Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., as he tried to exit a parking lot. Manchin has angered his own party over his opposition to the president’s multitrillion-dollar social spending bill.

Ocasio-Cortez’s appearance at the Met Gala followed an earlier spat with Manchin.
