(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Sen. Pete Ricketts (R-NE), in a recent Fox News Digital interview, called for disciplinary action to be taken against Hunter Biden’s legal team after a judge alleged that one of the lawyers had lied about her identity during an interaction with court officials.
He stated that there had been reports from many Americans expressing worry about the justice system being weaponized by the federal government against President Biden’s opponents while his son has received preferential treatment. He argued that it is necessary for them to have accountability and to ensure that there is no favoritism or misconduct. As he pointed out this is something that also affects Hunter Biden’s legal team.
He continued by arguing that it is important for their faith and integrity in the legal system to be restored.
This week, U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika claimed that sanctions might be filed against the lawyers representing Hunter Biden after it was revealed that Jessica Bengels, a Latham & Watkins lawyer had misrepresented who she was and who she worked for while trying to get the Clerk’s Office to dismiss certain important documents from the criminal case relating to Hunter Biden. According to the accusations, Bengels had claimed to be connected to the House Republican Ways & Means Committee, which also has a probe into Hunter Biden and his business affairs.
Hunter Biden’s team has maintained that this was a miscommunication between the lawyer and the court’s staff members. However, Ricketts has claimed that an ethics investigation needs to be opened against Hunter Biden’s lawyers in both of the states in which they practice.
