(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley is putting pressure on former President Donald Trump to start showing up to the presidential debate ahead of the Iowa caucuses. He is also calling for him to appear at one of the CNN-hosted events ahead of this month’s Iowa caucuses.

Former South Carolina Governor Haley, who had previously served in the Trump administration as the United Nations ambassador for the country, took to social media on Tuesday to argue that it was “harder” for the former President to continue to hide, as only three people had qualified for the last primary debate.

In her post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Haley pointed out that there would only be three qualifying candidates attending the CNN debate. She further argued that this meant it was time for Trump to also participate in the debate.

On Tuesday, CNN announced that the only three candidates to have met the criteria set for the third debate on January 10th were Haley, Trump, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Last month, the debate was announced by the network, with so far only Haley and DeSantis showing an interest in attending. The debates have been particularly beneficial for Haley whose strong debate performances have allowed her to receive more support from voters.

Haley has called Trump out over his decision to skip all four of the previous Republican primary debates. On the same night as the CNN debate, Trump is set to participate in a town hall that will be aired on Fox News. The town hall is set to take place in Des Moines.
