(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Friday, former South Carolina governor and GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley stated that she disagreed with former President Donald Trump over his recent controversial statement in which he referred to his political opponents as “vermin.”

During a town hall in Iowa, Haley stated that she disagreed with both this statement and Trump’s previous remarks about Hezbollah being smart. She added that she also opposed Trump’s criticisms of Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu following the attack on Israel by Hamas.

Their remarks, which were reported by Forbes, come close to a week after Trump noted during a Veterans Day speech that he was planning on rooting out of the United States all the “radical-left thugs” whom he compared to vermin who live with the United States.

In October, following the October 7th Hamas attack against Israel, Trump had praised the Iranian-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah for being “very smart” and attacked and slammed Netanyahu.

Haley stated in the town hall that it was all “chaos” and that while she believed that Trump meant well it was time for all the chaos to come to an end.

Trump has been slammed by many people over his “vermin” comments as many have pointed out that this was the type of rhetoric used by dictators during World War II to dehumanize the groups they were opposing.

Haley also argued that during her time serving in the Trump administration, she had a good working relationship with Trump and that he was aware of the many things that she had “saved him on.”
