(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Following the death of Sen. Dianne Feinstein, California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced his pick for a replacement, Laphonza Butler. Following this choice, Butler has been doing everything possible to scrub any online evidence that shows that she lives in Maryland and not California.
The screenshots came from Butler’s account on X, formerly known as Twitter, where his location was shown as “Maryland” on Sunday. However, following the news about her possibly being selected as a replacement she deleted her location and her X account no longer shows Maryland as her listed location.
The president of EMILY’s List, a pro-abortion group, also changed the bio she had added to the website of the organization. The new bio no longer reflects that she is living in Maryland. However, previously, the organization’s website stated that Butler resided in Maryland along with her entire family.
These are not the only online references to her location that exist. A previous EMILY’s list Federal Election Commission filing also showed that Butler resided in Silver Spring, Maryland, with the latest information about this being her location dating back to August 31st.
The appointment was announced by Newsom only days after the death of 90-year-old Feinstein last week. In his announcement, he stated that Butler was an advocate for working people, girls, and women and that she had been Vice President Kamala Harris’ trusted adviser. He also touted the work of Feinstein and her efforts to fight for gun violence safety and reproductive freedom, adding that Butler would be the perfect option to continue this fight.
