According to a recent report by Fox News Digital, the FBI received information in 2020 suggesting that then-Vice President Biden had received $5 million from a high-ranking executive at Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company, in exchange for political influence. It is worth noting that Hunter Biden, the president’s son, served on the board of Burisma Holdings.
During a Senate Judiciary hearing on Tuesday, Senator Cruz questioned FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate about the existence of a report detailing the bribery allegations against the Biden family. He also inquired whether the bureau had conducted an investigation into these allegations and whether they would provide the Senate with any requested recordings and documents related to the case. However, Abbate declined to answer Cruz’s questions, asserting that he would not comment on information received by the bureau or ongoing investigations. Cruz criticized Abbate for this decision, accusing the FBI of concealing crucial evidence pertaining to the allegations against President Biden.
It is worth noting that the FBI currently possesses an FD-1023 form, which contains an interview with a highly credible confidential source regarding meetings held with top executives from Burisma. The form also suggests the existence of 17 recordings involving the Burisma executive and Joe and Hunter Biden. However, it remains uncertain whether the FBI pursued further investigation following this interview.
