(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis put forward a new legislation in his state that would include harsher sanctions against Iran following the recent attack by Hamas, a terror group in control of Gaza, against Israel. DeSantis also slammed the President and his administration for attempting to appease Iran.
While unveiling the new legislation DeSantis stated that it was sad to see the administration respond in such a way and that it made people wonder where things were going. He added that immediately after the attack they deleted a State Department bureau tweet that stated that following the attack Israel should not respond. Antony Blinken, the United States Secretary of State had also put out a tweet calling for a cease-fire.
The now-deleted post that DeSantis was referencing had caused many people to slam Blinken over his statement. DeSantis proceeded to slam the Biden administration over their decision to loosen the sanctions on Iran and allow for $6 billion in Iranian assets to be unfrozen in exchange for some American prisoners who had been unlawfully held in Iran.
DeSantis added that if any of the Palestinian Arabs, including Hamas, decided to lay down their arms then there would be peace in the area. However, he then claimed that should Israel decide to lay down its arms, then all that would lead to would be the country being destroyed. He added that they know that to be the case and yet the Biden administration has not taken action to support Israel further.
