(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Monday morning, GOP presidential candidate Chris Christie stated during an appearance on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, that it was possible that a second Trump administration would include as staff a number of “deranged sycophants.”
The former New Jersey governor made these remarks in response to a question by Hewitt on whether or not there needed to be more “clarity” on who would be a part of a potential second Trump administration.
Christie proceeded to question in response whether this would be the world of Kash Patels, Jeffrey Clarks, or Michael Flynns of the world, as they were the type of people who would make up a possible second Trump administration. He proceeded to argue that this would be a group of “deranged sycophants” that did everything that Trump as their leader required them to do, regardless of whether or not the requests made by Trump were in alignment with the law or the Constitution.
All three of the possible staffers mentioned by Christie were part of the Trump administration during his first term in office for a brief time.
Clark had been one of the people who had pushed the false claims of voter fraud following the 2020 presidential election. He had previously served in the Trump administration as a senior Department of Justice appointee.
Patel had been one of Trump’s former national security officials, while Flynn had resigned from the Trump administration within two months of being selected as Trump’s first national security adviser.
