(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Tuesday, MSNBC host Joy Reid argued that it would look “weird” if Black voters did not support presumptive Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election.
In a video on her TikTok account, Reid pointed out that Vice President Kamala Harris had entered the presidential race very dynamically and that it was now reported that she had secured the necessary votes to become the party’s nominee. Reid added that it would look “real crazy” if people did not support her, especially people of color.
She further commented that Harris is a “cultural phenomenon” and argued that she would become the first woman U.S. President. In her comments Reid also reignited her feud with Amber Rose who had spoked during last week’s Republican National Convention, arguing that the other side which was not supporting Harris is looking “crazy” and “lonely.”
Following Rose’s speech, Reid argued that she considers her to be racially ambiguous and that she is not Black which is why she did not refer to her as a Black woman. Still, she argued that the RNC had put someone on stage who had created their entire career around Black culture. She further pointed out that this was the person that the GOP was using in their attempt to bring in more young voters of color, and that it was “dubious” trusting someone who is not even the race that they have built their platform on.
Rose took to X to respond to these allegations arguing that the MSNBC host was just trying to “race bait” and that she had never stated that she is not Black, she has just said that she identifies as biracial.
