(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Rasmussen Reports recently found that despite former President Donald Trump’s recent indictment, he was still leading in a hypothetical matchup against President Joe Biden.
The survey specifically showed 45 percent of likely U.S. voters said they would support Trump in a presidential election rematch in 2024. Thirty-nine percent stated that they would back Biden while 12 percent said they would back a different candidate.
More specifically, in a hypothetical matchup being Biden and Trump, 78 percent of Republicans, 15 percent of Democrats, and 46 percent of unaffiliated voters would support former President Trump. On the other hand, Biden would get 76 percent of Democrats, 12 percent of Republicans, and 26 percent of unaffiliated voters supporting him.
In terms of the different demographics, 48 percent of white people would back Trump, and 39 percent would support Biden, 42 percent of black voters would back Trump and 44 percent would vote for Biden, and 39 percent of other minorities would back Trump while only 36 percent would support Biden.
Voters under 40 appear to prefer Biden, with 41 percent backing him, while only 35 percent support Trump. Voters over 40 tend to prefer Trump with 50 percent over Biden’s 39 percent.
The poll also found that 45 percent of voters believed the Biden administration to be the most corrupt administration, while only 37 percent believe there is less corruption in this administration. Around 14 percent believe that the level of corruption has remained the same.
The Rasmussen survey was conducted from June 12th to 14th among 986 likely U.S. voters. There was a 3 percent margin of error.
