(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Wednesday, the Biden 2024 presidential campaign intends to launch the “Black Voters for Biden-Harris” initiative at a Philadelphia college preparatory school with a Black student majority.
As part of the campaign launch, both President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Girard College where they will meet with several Black leaders including Congressional Black Caucus Chair Rep. Steven Horsford (D-NV), Biden campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond, and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D).
As part of the initiative, they will be using an eight-figure investment which will also involve working during the summer in collaboration with Black organizations to reach out to more Black voters and strengthen voter protection ahead of the presidential election. They also intend to engage with Black-owned media outlets through surrogates in many battleground states as part of their voter outreach program.
Quentin Fulks, the principal deputy campaign manager, argued in a statement that their coalition has announced a summer outreach and engagement program which will serve as the next phase of their campaign’s outreach program to Black voters.
The campaign will also be focusing on how former President Donald Trump’s campaign is not directly engaging with Black voters. Last week the campaign released two ads targeting Trump especially regarding his record with Black Americans and slamming his previous rhetoric.
On Wednesday first-generation Sudanese American Lina Mayen, along with small business owner Robert N.C. Nix III, will introduce Biden and Harris to the crowd.
