(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Biden’s family blames his campaign advisers for his performance at Thursday’s debate.
According to a report by Politico, President Joe Biden’s family members spent the weekend at Camp David privately thrashing his campaign advisers, blaming them for his horrendous performance at the debate.
The report reveals Biden’s family also urged the President to fire or demote these advisers.
According to three people who had second-hand accounts of the family’s discussions, there isn’t any expectation Biden would be listening to their advice.
To boost their complaints, Biden’s family reportedly complained about his debate practice and how it prevented him from pivoting to attack and didn’t help him outline a vision for a possible second term. They also claimed he had been overworked.
According to the report, the family placed the blame on three staffers:
- Anita Dunn, a senior Biden adviser.
- Bob Bauer, Biden’s attorney and Dunn’s husband, who roleplayed as former President Donald Trump during the debate practice.
- Ron Klain, former chief of staff, who was tasked with running point on the debate preparation.
However, in response to the report, Kevin Munoz, spokesperson for the Biden campaign, released a statement defending Biden’s advisers and highlighting that they had been with the President for “years, often decades,” adding that Biden “maintains strong confidence in them.”
The Biden family also spent the weekend discussing the best way to reassure Democrats and voters that Biden remaining in the race would be the best course of action, as more Democrats have questioned whether Biden has the capacity to win in November and then serve another four years.
