(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Thursday, President Biden’s reelection campaign announced that they would add three more members to their fundraising team. The campaign’s fundraising efforts are going to be managed by co-directors Michael Pratt and Colleen Coffey.

Pratt had previously served as the Democratic National Committee (DNC) finance director and had also acted as a senior advisor during Biden’s 2020 campaign. Before that, he had worked as the Obama Foundation tri-state development director. Coffey was the deputy finance director of the DNC and had also been an advisor during Biden’s previous presidential campaign. She previously also served as Sen. Ed Markey’s (D-MA) finance director and had been one of Vice President Kamala Harris’ consultants during her time serving as Senator in California.

On Thursday, it was announced that Jessica Porter would also be joining as the grassroots fundraising director. Julie Chávez Rodriguez, Biden’s campaign manager stated that the three leaders being brought in have expertise in the field and are going to use innovative tactics and strategies to boost the fundraising efforts.

Last month, the Biden campaign also announced that they were bringing in new people to lead the data and analytics strategy ahead of the election. Cedric Richmond, who had previously served as a White House advisor, was also brought on as campaign co-chairman.

Rufus Gifford was also announced as finance chairman and Chris Korge is going to be the Biden Victory Fund chairman.

President Biden has managed to raise $72 million in the second quarter surpassing every other candidate including former President Donald Trump, who raised less than half of that amount.
