Beto O’Rourke: Conservative Media Planting “Seeds of Terror” in American Soil

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke is currently polling at less than 2% nationally, but it hasn’t stopped him from peddling his dumb ideas about the country whenever he gets in front of a live microphone. No one on the left has taken more advantage of the recent mass shootings than O’Rourke, and that’s really saying something when it comes to the current field of Democrats. O’Rourke, who hails from El Paso himself, has taken it upon himself to make this HIS tragedy, and now he’s blaming everyone from President Trump to Fox News for the violence.

In an op-ed for CNN, the Texas Democrat said that the “white terrorist” who killed 22 people at a Walmart last week walked a “path of vile inspiration that reaches from the darkest chapters of our history and runs directly to the White House today.”

O’Rourke, who once fantasized about running over children in a bizarre “short story” posted online, said that conservative media was to blame for the bloodshed.

“The seeds of terror we saw that August day are transmitted day and night on Fox News, the most watched cable news channel in the country,” O’Rourke wrote. “They are amplified by right-wing websites like Breitbart, and in messages forced onto local news broadcasts by Sinclair Media. They metastasize on Facebook. And they filter up from grotesque online havens for white supremacists who preach intolerance and worship violence.

“Every media outlet that covers Trump’s rallies uncritically is serving dangerous ends. This language of fear and intimidation is not, as some would have it, simply political theater; it actually changes our behavior,” he continued. “Right before a terrorist came to our community to kill 22 innocent people, police believe he wrote a manifesto that used the President’s language of ‘invasion.’ The President used the word ‘invasion’ to describe immigration in over 2,000 ads on Facebook.”

Yes, you heard it from the genius himself: The El Paso loon was driven to his ugly deeds by Fox News, Breitbart, Sinclair Media, and Facebook ads. Never mind that none of those outlets were mentioned in the guy’s manifesto. Never mind that at all. Beto O’Rourke has identified the real problem in this country, and it comes down to free speech that goes against the liberal agenda.

How convenient.
