(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Jenna Ellis, the former Trump campaign attorney, told prosecutors in the Fulton County federal interference case that former President Donald Trump had no intention of exiting the White House “under any circumstance” after he lost the 2020 election.
The video of Ellis’ interview with the prosecutors was obtained and released by ABC News. Last month, Ellis took a plea deal in the election interference case which deals with Trump’s and his co-defendant’s attempts to overturn the election results in Georgia in 2020.
Ellis in the video is describing a discussion she had with Dan Scavino, a former senior White House official during the Trump administration, around December 19, 2020, where she had to emphasize to him that she believed that the time for challenging the results in the presidential election was over, only to be told that Trump is not planning “to leave under any circumstances.” He had added that they would “stay in power.”
Ellis explained that she had then told him that this was not how things worked only to be told that they did not “care.”
The video is a glimpse into the type of insight that prosecutors could get from the cooperation of Ellis and others in this case. This information could be essential in determining what was happening after the 2020 election in Trump’s circles. At the time Trump was pushing forward the claims that the election results were fraudulent. However, those claims had been rejected by the court. Ellis was part of the team of attorneys who had been making filings regarding the elections being fraudulent.
