(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Tuesday, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) announced his bid for the 2024 presidential matchup, setting the grounds for a rematch between himself and former President Donald Trump in 2024.

While speaking in New Hampshire, Christie took the opportunity to attack both President Biden and Trump, arguing that the latter had “made us smaller” by creating a fractured group that fights each other. He proceeded to state that Biden has also done the same.

His criticisms of Trump though did not end there, as he called him a “lonely, self-consumed, self-serving mirror hog” and argued that he is not a leader but rather he was more like the Harry Potter villain Voldemort. He added that Trump is “obsessed with the mirror” and always blames others, refusing to admit that he has ever made a mistake or has any faults. Still, he manages to give himself credit for everything that goes right.

Christie also attacked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is considered one of the two top candidates in the GOP primary race, over his comments about the war in Ukraine being a “territorial dispute.” As he pointed out throughout history there have been occasions when people needed “to choose between big and small,” this was why he had joined the presidential race against candidates who claim that they should not care about the war in Ukraine, or Russia’s attempts to take over and control the country.

Christie first filed paperwork on Tuesday, before officially launching his presidential campaign during a town hall at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.
